Since it is love month, I just wanted to ask What is love for you?
If I’m ask to summarize my weekend in one word I would say it was AMAZING. I have been invited to go to Nasugbu by my good and lovely amica, Ruth :D

On the way to Nasugbu, we spent 4-5 hours of travel talking about love, listening to podcasts of VCF about love :D and listening to Ruth prepare for her talk entitled Mahal kita kasi…
We arrived there around lunchtime and ate some really delicious food (kamatis, ginataang tulingan, chicken adobo, letsugas, kapeng barako). Aigoo~ How i miss the food in province…
Having our energy back, we started to set up for the event. They even cooked pop corn!! :D

and they designed their church with hearts. Though corny as the saying seems someone even commented: “Love is really in the air.” I’m not one for mushy things but for once I agree. :)

First thing in the program: Watch FLIPPED

No matter how many times I’ve watched this movie I couldn’t seem to get enough of it. Julie and Bryce’s love story is so cute and inspiring that you can’t seem to stop reminiscing about those innocent times when you were still a kid and you had a crush on someone. The times when receiving lollipop from that kid makes you so completely happy and a little glimpse of that someone had already made your day.
After watching, was the talk. It was about rediscovering your first love and your true identity, that we are fearfully and wonderfully made by Our Father.
A message for women: Don’t look down on yourselves. No matter what anyone says in the negative do not believe it. You are precious. You are beautiful. You are worthy. So worthy of love and pursuance that a certain Someone have been pursuing you ever since and he never stop pursuing. He even gave His own life just to show how much He wanted to pursue us and to accept His love. He gave His own flesh and blood to show He loves us. He loves you. So don’t think otherwise.

Thanks to this people for making the talk so memorable and full of giddiness. :)
Next day, we wake up so early in the morning and went to the beach to get some quality time with our lovely best friend, God. :)
Really, nothing beats the sound of the waves crashing on the shore while reflecting on the things that God has done.
After that it was time to leave. On the way back here in Manila, I was reflecting on the memories I have made in this place. I’m very much grateful for the opportunities that have been given to me, for the rare quiet moments with God, for the moments to just really appreciate His creation, for the delicious food and most especially for the people that I have met there and have made a close relationship with. I left Nasugbu with a joyful heart and with that travel God has impressed on me a very important thing. Share His love.
“Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it is not rude. It is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight of evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes and always perseveres.”
